We are pleased to announce that Buccleuch Property have acquired the retail warehouse investment of Halfords in Slough. The property is located on Slough’s prime retail warehouse pitch, Bath Road, with active redevelopment in the surrounding area. This is a further investment for Buccleuch Property into the retail warehouse market following on from the purchase of West Retail Park, Uddingston and Colchester Retail Park in 2022. Buccleuch Property were attracted to the asset due to its fantastic location within Slough, proximity to the M4 motorway, and the redevelopment happening in the surrounding area.

Angus Lutton of Buccleuch Property said “We continue to seek investment opportunities in asset classes with good rental growth prospects across core U.K locations and which provide opportunities in the future. This is a great addition for the portfolio, providing secure income from a national retailer in a retail warehouse market where supply continues to tighten.”

Griff Lewis of Cushman & Wakefield acted for Buccleuch Property and Avison Young advised the vendor.
