Buccleuch Property bolsters its Board of Directors with Simon Perkins appointed as non-executive director on 1st January 2023. Simon brings with him a wealth of experience in the commercial property sector and will join industry stalwart Bob Bowden who has been Buccleuch’s only NXD for almost 20 years.
Simon was Chief Executive Officer of McKay Securities Plc until July 2022, following the successful sale of the business to Workspace Group Plc. He has worked across many aspects of the real estate world, with direct operational experience in management, development and refurbishment in growing the business from £80m through to its sale for £290m which concluded in May 2022.
We are delighted with Simon’ s appointment and are looking forward to gaining from his knowledge and expertise as we continue to grow the company and its assets.
